OK, so optimistically I stated that we were on track and the drywall would start on Monday. Ha Ha.. Over the weekend some genius(es) who were probably stalking our house decided that they needed all of the copper wire in our house more than we did. Snip, snip, (with what we think were hedge clippers,) and now we are 1 week and $4000 dollars behind. Hopefully we should be back up to speed by Saturday.
So, sadly, no new pictures, I didn't think you all would want to see pictures of the new electrical that looks exactly like the old electrical, and no drywall to speak of. However, when the soon to be added security system gets added I will be sure to let you know. In the meantime, if you see anyone with a bunch of copper wire at the recycling station, give us a call!!
Also, open house #2 on Sunday. Everyone pray for crummy weather so that we get more than 2 people like last time.
So we are kind of back on track...
All of the trim in the front is done, obviously it will be painted to match the siding. The electricians will finish today, and our security system is up.
Drywall in the garage is done as well. Hopefully they will work over the weekend to get us back on track.

Brick finally finished yesterday. It looks darker then it will end up being because of the wet mortar ( and the rain ) .
Howie's bathtub. In this picture he is standing where the TV is going on the wall. ( Happy 10 year anniversary! The TV was a gift.) Insulators start today, and the drywallers start on Monday. Drywalling will take about 3 weeks, and at this point we will be in close to the 1st of October.
Not too much going on with the exterior this week. The brick layers are supposed to start on Wednesday. Meanwhile, here is a little synopsis of this past week... not fireworks pictures, however. Above notice we now have a shower in the master bath. Howie is still waiting for the tub ; ).
E and Howie at Maumee Bay last Sunday. Grandpa Hayden took the boys fishing and he was trying to keep her out of the way.
Siding all done on the back of the house...
If you look carefully you can see the beginning of what will be the barrel ceiling in the wet bar. This was the best shot I could get.
